Partner Jin Bingyi, Director of Runyi Law Firm, Participated in the Wanli Street Youth Debate Competition
On December 4, 2015, Mr. Jin Bingyi, Director of Runyi Law Firm, in his capacity as Deputy Director of the Putuo District Lawyers Working Committee, participated in the "Self-Governance, Co-Governance, Rule of Law, New Homeland—Wanli Street Youth Debate Invitational Tournament" jointly hosted by the Putuo District Bureau of Justice and the Wanli Subdistrict Office, serving as a judge for the final round. The contestants in the final round cited classics and delivered eloquent speeches, earning rounds of applause from the audience.
This debate tournament featured 12 teams, including representatives from the Putuo District People's Court, the People's Procuratorate, the Public Security Sub-Bureau, the Wanli Community Youth Joint Team, the Young Lawyers' Representative Team, and the Notary Public Office. After four rounds and a total of ten matches, the Putuo Young Lawyers Team and the Wanli Community Youth Joint Team advanced through the competition to reach the finals. In the final round, the two teams engaged in a fierce debate on the topic, "Which is more conducive to maintaining good community order: enhancing citizens' awareness of the rule of law or improving their moral standards?" The Putuo Young Lawyers Representative Team, demonstrating composure, clear reasoning, and outstanding performance, emerged victorious and claimed the championship.
Through this debate tournament, Director Jin Bingyi expressed that he observed the rigorous and solid legal expertise of the Putuo young lawyers, as well as their positive spirit of unity, progress, and pioneering innovation. He expressed his anticipation for young legal professionals to contribute to the advancement of the legal cause in Putuo District.
