In order to effectively strengthen safety prevention education, enhance the public's awareness of fraud prevention, and reduce the occurrence of telecommunications and internet fraud cases, on June 15 and 16, 2023, Shanghai Runyi Law Firm was invited by the Changfeng Subdistrict Office of Putuo District to conduct a "Knowledge Seminar on Ensuring Safety, Rejecting Fraud, and Preventing Telecommunications and Internet Fraud" for community correctional clients and community residents within the jurisdiction.

During the seminar, attorneys from Runyi Law Firm introduced the key provisions of the Anti-Telecommunications and Internet Fraud Law. Through several case studies, they provided a detailed explanation of common telecommunications and internet fraud schemes prevalent in society today, and summarized, based on actual cases, how to prevent such fraud. Throughout the seminar, participants engaged in interactive discussions on related fraud schemes, creating a lively atmosphere. After the seminar, attendees raised questions regarding telecommunications and internet fraud issues they had encountered, and the attorneys addressed each question.

In recent years, Runyi Law Firm has continuously supported the series of legal awareness campaigns of the Changfeng Subdistrict Office, developing corresponding course materials based on social hot topics and conducting community legal awareness seminars. Through this seminar, the awareness of anti-telecommunications and internet fraud laws and regulations among residents within the jurisdiction was enhanced, further improving their fraud prevention awareness, while also fostering a strong legal atmosphere within the community.
