As one of the major "people's livelihood projects," the installation of elevators in multi-story residential buildings is not only a "key minor matter" in residents' daily lives but also a "major livelihood issue" closely tied to the well-being of the public. To further promote the orderly progress of elevator installation in multi-story residential buildings, Shanghai Runyi Law Firm, serving as the legal advisor to the neighborhood committees within the Changfeng area, conducted a series of elevator installation seminars for five neighborhood committees: Daduhe Road Lane 95, Changfeng First Committee, Changfeng Second Committee, Normal University Third Village, and Zhongjiang Residential Community. A total of over one hundred participants, including neighborhood committee cadres, resident representatives, members of the elevator installation working groups, and staff from construction management companies, attended these seminars.

The seminars primarily focused on four aspects: an overview of elevator installation, policy interpretation, the "three stages of elevator installation," and Q&A sessions along with case studies on elevator installation. Through pre-seminar research and understanding, the lawyers of Runyi Law Firm compiled issues encountered in elevator installation work and practical cases, effectively leveraging the role of case-based legal interpretation. During the seminars, participants actively exchanged views on difficulties encountered in elevator installation work, sharing typical cases and beneficial experiences for mutual learning and reference.

Following the systematic training provided by Runyi Law Firm, the participants expressed that they had greatly benefited, enabling more residents to understand the policies, objective conditions, different roles played by various stakeholders, and the functions they can perform in the elevator installation process. This is conducive to advancing the development of elevator installation projects within the jurisdiction, jointly making life more convenient and better for residents of old residential communities.
