On March 31, 2019, the First Session of the Eleventh Shanghai Lawyers Congress was held at the Shanghai International Convention Center. Chen Yin, Member of the Standing Committee of the Shanghai Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China, Executive Vice Mayor, and Secretary of the Political and Legal Affairs Committee of the Shanghai Municipal Committee, attended the meeting and delivered a speech. Leaders from the Shanghai Higher People's Court, the Shanghai People's Procuratorate, and the Party Committee of the Shanghai Municipal Bureau of Justice were also present. More than 300 lawyer representatives from across the city participated in this meeting.

The meeting elected a new leadership team of the Shanghai Bar Association. Attorney Jin Bingyi, Managing Partner of Shanghai Runyi Law Firm, was elected as a Supervisor of the Supervisory Committee of the Shanghai Bar Association. The Putuo District Lawyers Working Committee was awarded the "2018 Shanghai Lawyers Industry Contribution Award."

Attorney Jin Bingyi stated that receiving this honor carries a responsibility to live up to the mission, to serve as a role model in the construction of regional legal services, and to contribute to the better development of the regional economy.
