On November 15, 2015, Jin Bingyi, Director of our firm and Deputy Director of the Putuo District Lawyers Working Committee, accompanied by Zou Fuwen, President of the Shanghai Women Lawyers Association, visited the Pudong Women Lawyers Association.Zhou Lanping, President of the Pudong Women Lawyers Association, introduced the long-standing dedication of Pudong female lawyers to public welfare activities, ranging from legal aid to legal education, from campuses to communities. These female lawyers, through their actions and perseverance, fulfill their social responsibilities. Representatives from various district women lawyers associations also shared the progress of activities conducted by female lawyers in their respective districts, engaging in an in-depth exploration of the development of platforms for female lawyers.
Director Jin Bingyi stated that the female lawyers present at the meeting epitomize the profile of Shanghai's female lawyers—self-reliant yet resilient, elegant yet confident, meticulous yet gentle, composed yet poised. Shanghai's female lawyers, leveraging their unique strengths, hold up half the sky in legal services and actively assume social responsibilities, making outstanding contributions to maintaining social harmony and stability and advancing the rule of law.
Director Jin Bingyi further noted that within Runyi Law Firm, we also witness the distinctive grace of female lawyers. In community legal services, they patiently and meticulously address residents' legal inquiries with a gentle demeanor; in courtroom debates, they passionately defend the legitimate rights and interests of their clients. Through this exchange activity, we have gained a deeper appreciation of the challenges faced by female lawyers. Both Runyi Law Firm and the Putuo District Lawyers Working Committee will provide more comprehensive support for the activities of female lawyers.
